Paris Saint-Germain coach Luis Enrique is hoping Achraf Hakimi can make it back to Paris before Morocco wraps up its current training camp. Hakimi won’t be playing against Tanzania because of yellow card accumulation, which gives him an unexpected break.
According to French newspaper Onze Mondial, PSG will have the advantage of a well-rested Hakimi for their first game after the international break. Since he’s not playing against Tanzania, he avoids any extra strain.
Enrique is also keeping an eye on injuries, especially at this stage of the season. Missing the Tanzania match means Hakimi stays out of harm’s way, which is a relief for PSG. Reports say Enrique is pushing to get him back in Paris before Morocco’s camp officially ends.
Meanwhile, Moroccan coach Walid Regragui has brought in Yusuf Belahmri from Raja Casablanca to fill the gap left by Hakimi.
Morocco won their last match against Niger 2-1, keeping their lead in Group F with 12 points. Fans are eager to see how the team performs against Tanzania without one of their key players. Hakimi, on the other hand, will be shifting his focus back to club duties, with PSG counting on him for the crucial matches ahead.
