Israel’s nonstop bombing of Gaza continues, with at least 16 Palestinians killed in strikes across the Strip since early morning.
The latest attacks come hours after Israeli forces hit the Nasser Hospital in Gaza, killing at least two people, including Hamas leader Ismail Barhoum.
US airstrikes have hit two locations in Yemen, including a packed neighborhood in the capital, Sanaa, killing at least one person and wounding 15 others.
Gaza’s Health Ministry reports at least 50,021 Palestinians have died and 113,274 have been injured in Israel’s war on Gaza. Gaza’s Government Media Office now estimates the total death toll at over 61,700, saying thousands remain buried under the rubble and are likely dead.
Families in Gaza are struggling to find basic things like food, water, and medicine because of the ongoing attacks. Many homes have been destroyed, and people are forced to take shelter in crowded schools and hospitals. Parents are searching through the rubble, hoping to find their loved ones. Doctors and nurses are doing all they can, but medical supplies are running low. Despite many around the world asking for the fighting to stop, it continues. Meanwhile, at least 1,139 people were killed in Israel during the Hamas-led October 7, 2023 attacks, and more than 200 were taken hostage.
